My shared children's bedroom

It was great to see my children’s room featured in this Spring issue of OhBaby magazine. Styling a space in the home is very much like styling the body. First you need to start with an end vision/look in mind. Think about what this vision entails from a style perspective. Is it fun, quirky, minimal, bright, traditional? What are the practicalities of the space in terms of how you want the room to function? Children’s rooms are a nightmare for collecting clutter and toys, so thinking about storage is vital. Think about the way the room receives the light - is it north or south facing? This can also feed into ideas for your wall colour and decorative accessories.

As some of you will know, I am now working across both personal styling and interior styling. With summer pretty much here (for some of us) it’s a great time to evaluate both your wardrobe and your home aesthetic. Step away from the layers and comforting colours to a bright and vibrant look both in the home and on your body.
